Redzone Reports 2019 Maine Broadband Expansion Progress

New Broadband Access Provided to Over 10,000 Maine Homes & Businesses in Farmington, Dover Foxcroft, Calais, Machias, Fort Kent, Belfast, and Fairfield So Far This Year

July 31, 2019 Redzone Wireless, LLC, a Maine-based broadband innovation company, announced that is has completed the activation of seven new fixed wireless broadband sites serving more than 10,000 new business & residential locations across Maine, with seven more nearing completion.

The seven new sites are located in Farmington, Dover Foxcroft, Calais, Machias, Fort Kent, Belfast and Fairfield, and serve portions of more than 25 communities. Redzone’s next seven sites nearing completion are located in Windham, New Sharon, Alfred, Anson, Skowhegan and Ossipee, in addition to a new site providing expanded service in Bath.

Redzone’s total Maine broadband coverage now exceeds 280,000 households – representing 50% of all Maine homes.
