Redzone Wireless, LLC Announces Maine Broadband Network Expansion in Bath & Woolwich

Company Expands 4G LTE Advanced Fixed Wireless Broadband Coverage Increasing Service Availability to 5,000 New Households.

November 18, 2015 – Camden, Maine.  Redzone Wireless, LLC, a Maine-based wireless Internet service provider (WISP), has expanded its powerful 4G LTE Advanced wireless broadband network with the activation of coverage serving the communities of Bath & Woolwich.

This latest expansion of high speed Internet service was privately funded by Redzone, and is now available to over 5,000 new homes and business located within the coverage area.  Today’s network launch follows Redzone’s earlier November announcement that statewide network coverage had exceeded 120,000 Maine households.

“Redzone has reached another important milestone by providing 4G LTE Advanced broadband network coverage to one of Maine’s hardest working areas.  “We are very proud to bring the world’s most advanced high speed Internet technology to the Bath & Woolwich communities,” said Jim McKenna, Redzone Wireless, LLC President. “Maine’s City of Ships now has better broadband technology infrastructure to drive economic development,” explained McKenna.

“We welcome this opportunity to provide a new choice in broadband service to residents and businesses in the greater Bath area,” said Michael Forcillo, Redzone Vice President.  “Our network is now available to over 125,000 homes around the state, representing 23% of all Maine households.  We affirm our projection to provide access to Better, Faster & Cheaper High Speed Internet to more than 25% of Maine’s population by the end of year,” added Forcillo.
